Discovery Channel
On December 12, 1999, the Discovery Channel released the documentary video, "In Search of Liberty Bell 7", the story of Curt Newport's search for the capsule flown by Virgil Grissom on a suborbital mission, July 5, 1961. Upon splashdown, the capsule began taking on water following the accidental blowing of the hatch. Mr. Boos served as a historical consultant on this production.
